CORSAIR is set to acquire Fanatec Sim Racing

In a major development for the Sim Racing industry, CORSAIR has announced its acquisition of the Fanatec Sim Racing product line from Endor AG. This strategic move marks a significant expansion for CORSAIR into the Sim Racing space, as the company continues its mission to provide top-tier hardware and accessories for gaming enthusiasts.

Fanatec, known for its innovative and high-quality Sim Racing hardware, has built a dedicated following among both casual gamers and professional drivers. The acquisition includes all existing Fanatec employees and operations, ensuring continuity in the development of the brand. The Fanatec headquarters will remain in Landshut, Germany, where the team will continue to design and produce its range of Sim Racing products, including force-feedback steering wheels, pedals, shifters, and complete racing cockpits for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms.

CORSAIR CEO Andy Paul expressed excitement about the acquisition, stating:

“We have long admired the Fanatec brand and are excited to bring these incredible products to an even wider audience. We are fully committed to further developing and expanding Fanatec’s product lines, improving customer service, and embracing the needs of the Sim Racing community. Racing enthusiasts can look forward to an even more intense and realistic Sim Racing experience.”

This acquisition aligns with CORSAIR’s broader strategy of delivering top-tier gaming experiences, and the company plans to make significant investments in the Fanatec brand. CORSAIR has assured customers that all existing and future Fanatec products will continue to be supported, with plans for improved customer service, warranty support, and software updates.

Andres Ruff, CEO of Endor AG, echoed Paul’s optimism, saying,

“CORSAIR shares Fanatec’s passion for innovation, quality, and continuous development. CORSAIR will open up new opportunities for Fanatec to further extend its portfolio and work even more closely with the growing Sim Racing community.”

With this acquisition, Sim Racing enthusiasts can expect to see more availability and even greater innovations from the Fanatec brand. Both companies are focused on ensuring smooth operations during the transition, including the timely delivery of orders and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

For Sim Racing fans, this partnership between CORSAIR and Fanatec signals an exciting future filled with new possibilities, enhanced performance, and an even more immersive racing experience.
